Meet the Team

Laurence joined Larkbridge in 2014 having attended a local sixth form, initially completing an apprenticeship in customer service. Following that, he worked in various roles within the administration team covering both mortgages and protection, whilst working to achieve his CII qualifications along the way.

Having acquired his CII certificates, Laurence initially specialised as a protection adviser, gaining a wealth of experience, and he now heads up our protection team. In 2022, Laurence began providing advice on mortgages as well, ensuring he can advise his clients on a wide range of financial products.

Laurence is an avid carp fisherman when not in the office, and if not beside the lake, he enjoys holidaying with his girlfriend and going to the gym.

Sam is another member of the team that has been at Larkbridge since inception. With over 25 years’ experience in financial services, Sam opted to specialise as a mortgage and protection adviser, joining Larkbridge in that role in 2013.

Sam strives to forge excellent relationships with his clients, many of whom he goes on to become good friends with, providing advice and support on their mortgage and protection needs over a number of years.

Away from work, Sam enjoys heading off on holidays with his family, socialising with friends, and following Arsenal.

Becky joined Larkbridge in 2018, having previously worked at our sister company St Edmundsbury Wealth Management. She initially specialised in providing insurance advice to business owners, a role that has since developed significantly to encompass a wide range of insurance solutions for both businesses and individuals.

Becky loves meeting her clients, building long-lasting relationships with them as she works hard to find diverse solutions to meet a range of insurance needs. Becky can provide expert advice on protecting business ownership, employee group schemes, and individual and family protection.

When not at work, Becky loves to exercise and walk her dog in the beautiful local countryside, enjoys meals out, and trips to the cinema with her family.

Having completed his A-Levels, Jacob joined Larkbridge in April 2016 where, like Laurence, he completed a customer service apprenticeship whilst learning the trade as part of the administration team. Having gained a wealth of experience in that role over 6 years, Jacob acquired his CII Certificate in Mortgage Advice in June 2022, progressing on to a role as a mortgage and protection adviser. Jacob is excited to continue his career in what he finds a very fulfilling role, helping clients achieve their mortgage goals.

Away from the office, Jacob is a huge sports fan and follows a wide range of sports, his main passion being watching Ipswich Town where he is also a season ticket holder. When not at a game, Jacob enjoys gardening with his girlfriend and socialising with friends/family in their new home.

Matt has been with Larkbridge since the firm’s inception and is one of our mortgage advisers. He works closely with Andrew Lock, supporting a bank of clients with all their mortgage requirements.

Away from the office, Matt lives just outside Bury St Edmunds with his partner and their Rottweiler. When not renovating their home, they enjoys travelling around the UK in their camper.

Having used Larkbridge’s services for a number of years, Dawn joined the company in 2020 when a close friend that worked at the firm informed her she was moving overseas, meaning a position as part of the protection team became available. Dawn now supports Laurence and the protection team in her role as an administrator.

Dawn enjoys walking, and in the summer she will often walk to work at our Flempton office from her home in Bury St Edmunds. Other favourite pastimes include salsa dancing and wild swimming.

Karen is another of Larkbridge’s longest serving staff members, joining the team from inception in 2013. With a wealth of experience in the financial services industry, including a spell as a mortgage adviser herself, Karen heads up the administration team and is office manager. Alongside the rest of the team, she supports our advisers with the submission of mortgage applications, effectively managing cases through the entire process from submission through to completion.

Away from the office, Karen is a big rugby fan and is a season ticket holder at Northampton Saints. She also enjoys travelling, pub quizzes, and socialising with friends and family.

Ethan joined us in November 2021, working as part of the administration team whilst also completing an apprenticeship course with West Suffolk College. Alongside Karen, he supports our advisers with all aspects of their mortgage applications, including submissions to the lenders and liaising with solicitors to ensure the swift completion of clients mortgages. Upon completion of his apprenticeship, Ethan is eager to explore the available options to further his career in the mortgage industry.

When not at work, Ethan is a keen rugby fan and plays for a local club, Thurston Rangers, whilst also holding an interest in classic cars.

Georgia is the newest member of our team, joining us in October 2022, having had a change of direction with her career where she wanted to develop her knowledge of the mortgage industry and the wider financial market. Georgia works alongside Karen and Ethan as a mortgage administrator, supporting the advisers with their clients applications.

In her spare time, Georgia is studying an online Counselling course through Open Study College, and also enjoys spending time with family and friends or watching a good Netflix series.

Vicki joined Larkbridge in 2018, having been involved in the financial services industry since 2016 following the birth of her first child. Prior to that, she had held various roles as an event and wedding manager amongst other customer services roles.

Working remotely on a full time basis, Vicki stays connected with the everyone online and supports the protection team in an administration role.

When not at work, Vicki loves spending time with her family, exploring new places, and going to the beach.
